The Patent Proves It!

Everyone knows that when you have a major new technology you want to protect, you patent it.  Leading nanotechnology companies all understand this. For example, in 2004, IBM filed for and was issued 3,248 patents, Hewlett-Packard was issued 1,775 patents, and Intel 1,601 patents. Before you invest in any “proprietary” technology, look for the proof. The U.S. Patent and Trademark office gives you a free tool to search for all existing U.S. patents at www.uspto.gov.
